What is Bear and Bull Markets?

 What does it mean to be in a Bear Market? Or even the Bull market? I usually get a lot of questions from my clients asking these questions, the simple answer is the bull market is when the market is going up and rising which the economy is performing. The bear market is when we're heading into a recession and markets are dropping down. It's good to know these terms when learning to invest your money as these could be signal timers for when to invest. It's always best to start earlier than later as you give your money enough time to compound and grow.
